Community Edition

The HESTIA Community Edition is a self-hosted version of the platform that can be downloaded and run on your own infrastructure.

Overview

The Community Edition allows organisations to deploy HESTIA locally, enabling private use of the data standard, data storage, and environmental models without uploading data to the public platform.

The source code and setup instructions are available on GitLab.

Features

The Community Edition includes:

• The HESTIA Schema and Glossary for structuring and standardising agricultural data.
• Data upload and storage functionality.
• HESTIA's environmental models for gap-filling Site and Cycle data, calculating on-farm emissions, quantifying life cycle environmental impacts, and connecting products to background data.
• The Data Explorer interface for searching and visualising data.

All components are free and open source.
