The edible infructescence of the mulberry tree. The term can be used to describe the infructescence of different species and cultivars, including the red mulberry (Morus rubra) and the black mulberry (Morus nigra). To describe the white mulberry (Morus alba), mostly grown to feed silkworms, use the "white mulberry" term.
