Biochar organic carbon (per m3 soil)

The concentration of organic carbon in the soil derived from the application of biochar amendments. Biochar is more persistent in the soil than other organic compounds, with only a small portion mineralised each year at a decreasing rate over many centuries; its concentration should, therefore, be accounted for separately.
