## Assumptions

Mapping between HESTIA and SALCA land cover terms is in the `salcaHeavyMetalMapping` lookup on
`Practices/landCover.xlsx`.

The `subClassOf` column has mainly been used as a source of the mapping, following the below rules in the order given. A key assumption
is that rule 6 only names fruit crops, other permanent crops have been mapped to arable land. The only effect this
has is on the copper content, which is significantly lower for `soil_arable land` than `soil_fruit trees`.

`cashewTree` is named as an exception to rule 6 because it is the only nut tree with two parents,
`treeNutTree` and `fruitCropPlant`. Rule 6 would otherwise take it to `soil_fruit trees` while the other
eleven terms under `treeNutTree` fall through to arable land. Excluding it lets it follow its nut siblings
to rule 9, on the grounds that a cashew orchard is managed as a nut crop even though the cashew apple is a
fruit.
